2024 has been declared the hottest year on record, with global temperatures surpassing 1.5 degrees above pre-industrial levels for the first time. 

As wildfires continue to rage in California, the Australian Conservation Foundation is calling on the Albanese Government for stronger climate action, in line with the scale of this crisis.
