The Budget’s coming up and the Conservation movement has a few suggestions about how the government could save money and the planet. Don Henry used his address at the Press Club today, to criticise current fringe benefits tax policies which encourage car use and cost the tax payer millions of dollars each year. Greens Senator Christine Milne says instead of the tax break it would be a good idea to give employees free passes to public transport.
