The lack of sufficient funding towards services that cater to issues of domestic violence could send victims back into the arms of their abusers.

In this year’s Federal budget, $100 million was allocated to the domestic violence sector, however, concerned have been raised about the primary approach to regulating this issues remain critically underfunded.

As a result of this inadequate funding could limit the services provided to victims of family violence and leave the victims to handle matters on their own.
