In a historic referendum, Britain has voted to leave the European Union in a nail-bitingly close finish.
Over seventeen million Britons voted to leave the European Union, with just under sixteen million voting to stay.
BBC was the first to call the win for the Leave vote, resulting in the British Pound plummeting to its lowest level since 1985, sending global stock markets into meltdown.
British Prime Minister David Cameron has since announced he will resign as PM by October because of the referendum outcome.
