A study released today has revealed that simply handling a shopping receipt can be enough to pass the chemical Bisphenol A (BPA) into your blood stream. BPA is used in manufacturing plastics as well as the thermal paper, which is commonly used to print receipts. Australian Scientists are not concerned about the findings, believing the amount of BPA we are exposed to is not enough to be harmful
