Thailand’s political impasse has yet again turned violent. A bomb blast at Thailand’s domestic airport has killed one and injured twenty anti-government protesters. It happened just hours after the People’s Alliance for Democracy – P.A.D – ended their occupation of parliament house in order to send more protestors to Bangkok’s two airports. The PAD are threatening to continue their airport siege until Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat steps down. But the PM’s troubles don’t end there – courts are currently ruling on allegations of voter fraud by his own People Power Party and its coalition partners. The Wire’s Thailand correspondent Jay Lamey explains the legal situation.
