Premier Mike Rann’s proactive courting has brought a Bollywood film crew to shoot in South Australia.The film, Love Story 2050 got a package deal to cut out the difficulties a film crew from outside would normally have to jump over. Besides making top dollars, this will boost South Australian tourism when the film is released in India. After a sleepy phase between 2003 and 2006, Australia is geared to have more Indian crews coming over for shoots. Rachna Subir Sen spoke with Australian line producer and go between for Bollywood filmmakers coming to Australia, Anupam Sharma who thinks the trend started in 1998.
