Bluesfest backs new festival to showcase first Nations culture

A new Indigenous music festival is set to showcase living cultures through traditional music, dance rituals and workshops. The inaugural Boomerang festival will be held in October this year and include performances by Christine Anu and international artists. Festival director and Bundjalung woman, Rhoda Roberts is hopeful Boomerang will fill a void in the festival scene.
