Biloela’s most famous Tamil family – Priya, Nades, Kopika and Tharnicaa Nadesalingam were the stars of Biloela’s Women of the World festival last weekend.

Priya and Nades are talented chefs who now run a business selling home-cooked Sri Lankan and Indian delicacies.

This month marks the two-year anniversary of the Nadesalingam family’s return to Biloela following their release from immigration detention where they were held for four years.

The Wire’s Netta Finney spoke with mum Priya and her two daughters Kopica and Tharnicaa to find out what life is like now for the family.
