Since last year, motorcycle gangs have been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Following South Australia’s lead, all states except Victoria and the ACT have passed anti-bikie laws. These laws mean that the basis of bikie culture, the motorcycle club, has become illegal. It’s caused an outcry both inside and outside the motorcycle community and today bikies put their cause to an unusually high profile venue.
