The population debate’s back. Yesterday Bob Carr reopened it saying that Australia’s population should be limited to twenty-eight million. It’s believed Australia will have about thirty-five million residents by the middle of this century, Some even believe the numbers will be far greater. And it seems the idea of whether this is a good or bad thing has divided opinion.
