Energy and Environment Minister Josh Frydenberg is working feverishly to assauge disgruntled sections of his own party, whilst also hoping to get agreement from all of the States at the COAG Energy Council meeting this Friday 10 August.

Its a lonely job, and Greens Leader Senator Richard di Natale is scathing about the compromise inherent in the National Energy Guarantee and thinks we would be better off as we are -but energy companies say they need certainty and many voters say they need relief from some of the highest energy bills in the Western World.
