Conflict between Israel and Palestine has existed for decades. However, Israeli President Benjamin Netanyahu’s most recent endeavours to undermine Palestinian sovereignty has many in the international community greatly concerned. On Monday, Israel’s President proposed a new annexation plan of the West Bank, which exists on the border of Israel. Covid 19 has provided the perfect smokescreen for  the Israeli President to renew his push for Israeli control over the disputed territory.
