As debate churns on about what to do with Zimbabwe, an AIDS pandemic continues to rage inside the Nation, running side by side with the political, economic and social crises that are taking place there. Seiki Holland is a senior member of the Opposition for Democratic Change, and for many years has been involved in the women’s movement in Zimbabwe. In March was beaten and tortured by the Zimbabwean secret police in the capital Harare, and is now undergoing treatment in Australia. She speaks in this interview about the challenges facing women in the country.
