When your country gets involved in a war everyone has an opinion. That’s especially true of wars like the Vietnam war or the Iraq war where that opinion really is divided. Authors Take Sides is a new book based on an old idea – well known writers are asked a couple of direct questions about a conflict and their answers are put together as a record of opinions of the time. In this book authors were asked whether they supported the Iraq war and if they thought it would contribute to a lasting peace in the Middle East.
