Australia’s wealthy don’t support pension increase

Not everyone thinks pensioners need more money. A survey done recently by The Australia Institute found that people with incomes at the higher end of the scale were more likely to think that $271 a week was enough to live on, and they were least inclined to agree to pay more taxes to fund higher pensions. Executive Director of the Australia Institute, Dr Richard Dennis, told Catherine Zengerer about the results of the survey
