Australia’s oldest anti-discrimination laws turn 30

It’s been 30 years since the introduction of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Act. It was the first of its kind to be introduced in Australia. The Act as we know it today was developed after several ammendments, and Mr Stepan Kerkyasharian, president of the NSW Anti-Discrimination Board, says it’s an effective tool in preventing and deterring people from discrimination.
