A relic from the gold rush, Chinese market gardens have been reduced from from numbering in the hundreds, more than a century ago, to less than a handful in continuous operation today. Historians say the NSW heritage listed Chinese market gardens in southeast Sydney could be the last of its kind not only in New South Wales, but across Australia.
