Australia’s faith communities unify to fight climate change

Religious groups are getting serious about climate change. In September of this year the Pope installed solar panels on the Paul VI auditorium at the Vatican. While the Islamic al-Ghazzali Centre in Lakemba has switched all its energy over to Green Power. Australia’s first multi-faith group aimed at fighting climate change has just been launched. The organisation is called the Australian Religious Response to Climate Change, or ARK. ARRCC draws together people from various religious denominations including Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism and the Baha’i Faith.
