Australians have over $1.2 Trillion invested in their superannuation – with the average Australian having somewhere between forty and fifty thousand dollars in their accounts. This week welfare lobby groups have eagerly been highlighting the difficulties in obtaining early access to your superannuation. But this isn’t the only superannuation issue that Australians should be concerned about. Experts are warning that we’re not considering socially ethical investment options – with the consequence that Australian are funding weapons industries such as the building of cluster munitions.
