Australians in Lebanon urged to leave as soon as possible

The Australian government called for all citizens currently in Lebanon to get out if possible in light of tensions along the border with Israel.

Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong urged all Australian citizens in Lebanon to get on a commercial flight home before tensions escalate in the region.

Mohammed Muhia is a community leader from Western Sydney, currently in Lebanon.

He has a flight scheduled to leave on Sunday and says people living in Lebanon are having to deal with violence every day.
