It’s generally assumed that young people are more interested in their social lives than in politics and the environment. But the 60,000 members of the Australian Youth Climate Coalition care a great deal about climate change. Tonight key members of the group will meet with the Minister for Climate change, Greg Combet, and other federal politicians to talk about the price that should be put on pollution. At the same time all over the country other young climate campaigners will also be chatting with politicians, as part of the Coalition’s Meet Your Member campaign.
