Iranian president Ebrahim Raisi, along with his Foreign Minister and government officials, have died in a helicopter crash on the border of Azerbaijan. The hard-line president left little love in the hearts of the Iranian diaspora in Australia.  While Iranian state media declares an official period of mourning, many Iranians around the world are celebrating.

Siamak Ghahreman, president of the Australian Iranian community organisation, reveals that open celebrations are taking place in diaspora enclaves. Despite the jubilation, he is not hopeful that the death of the President will lead to change.
