Australian Immigration threatens security of Falun Gong asylum seekers

The Australian immigration system is putting Chinese refugees in an awkward and dangerous predicament. In NSW, failed asylum seekers have been released from detention centres on a bridging visa that requires them to obtain travel documents from the Chinese consulate. Francis Milne, from Balmain for Refugees, says this means that dissidents and Falun Gong practioners are having to identify themselves to the very government they are fleeing from.
