Saturday’s annual state conference of the Australian Family Association addressed the issue of child sexual abuse in remote Aboriginal communities. Dr Lara Wieland, a GP who has worked in remote Cape York Peninsula communities for many years, speaks to the group about the key issues facing the communities and the urgent need for the state and federal governments to do something about it.
