Australia up there with the worst when it comes to deforestation

A new report on the state of the planet  by the WWF has found huge biodiversity losses worldwide, mainly due to the clearing of habitat. Massive forest clearing on Australia’s east coast has endangered many animals to the point of extinction including the iconic koala.  Australia is now high on the list of countries seriously endangering species existence.
