Australia should increase their refugee intake: new policy agenda
This week, the Kaldor Centre for International Refugee Law from the University of New South Wales released a refugee policy to improve the refugee intake in Australia, and their inclusion within the community. In their agenda, the Kaldor Centre raised seven points on how to improve the actual situation of refugees, including processing refugees onshore, and bringing more programs for including them in the community.
While in the last federal election campaign, no political party mentioned refugees in their policies, the Kaldor Centre is expecting to provide more information to the community about refugees because it will bring inclusion to new migrants. Would the federal government do something about refugees after the refugee policy agenda?
