Architect Paul Pholeros liked to joke that he didn’t build houses, he fixed plumbing. With his Health Habitat team he worked for 30 years in remote Australia getting faulty infrastructure sorted out, with remarkable indigenous health outcomes. His death this week has devastated many who remember him as a big warm personality and an unsung humanitarian hero.
