Australia leads the world in methylamphetamine consumption

Australia has the highest methylamphetamine consumption per capita compared with 24 other countries, according to a report by the Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission.

The report released today displayed an increase in methylamphetamine, cocaine, MDMA and MDA consumption nationwide.

The results come from the wastewater monitoring of 56 per cent of Australia’s population across every state and territory.
