The Fair Work Commission has announced they will increase the minimum apprentice wage. Apprentices are happy with the move, but employers aren’t so sure.

Under a new decision by the Fair Work Commission, first year apprentices who have completed year 12, will earn a minimum 55 per cent of a qualified tradesperson’s award.
