Australia could fail the most important test in climate change credibility. With the Paris Climate Summit in November, the Department of Environment has released a new Issues Paper. It paints a picture of how we can reduce Co2 emissions post the 2020 period, yet experts say the paper does not address the most striking issue. Experts have also commented on the wording of the paper which sounds like we are asking for special treatment as an economy heavily reliant on resource and agricultural industries.
