As Australians and travellers from around the world begin to head home from Bangkok, the future remains uncertain for Thailand following the stepping down of Thai Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat. Last night Wongsawat and 9 other MP’s from the ruling People’s Power Party were banned from politics for 5 years for vote buying, and the party was disbanded. So where to now for the protesters and for the Thai parliament? Catherine Zengerer caught up with The Wire’s Bangkok correspondent, Jay Lamey and asked him what the mood was in Bangkok.
