The French Government has vowed to continue deporting Roma people, despite protests across the country this weekend. Roughly 30,000 thousand rallied against the campaign that has been going since July this year. President Sarkozy says that the deportations are legal, and that the Roma being removed are a threat to national security. But others argue the policy is illegal under European Union laws.
