The divide between Islam and the West is threatening to widen, as protests in Libya over a film produced in the US lead to the death of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens. The film titled ‘Innocence of Muslims’was recently translated in Arabic, and caused an uproar for its portrayal of Muhammad as a child molester, rapist and murderer. It also suggested the Quran was made up.Ambassador Christopher Stevens died from smoke inhalation trying to help evacuate the US Consulate building in Benghazi after it was set on fire.
