A young female recruit has alleged that a male cadet streamed live video of himself having sex with her to cadets in another room. She says she had agreed to the sex but had no idea it was being watched by six of his friends. The Australian Federal Police have now begun investigating the claims but only after the woman went public on commercial television about her ordeal. The whole affair is bound to put the spotlight back on how the defence forces deal with sexual harassment issues.
