With their federal funding axed NSW-based organisation AESCL (Aboriginal Early Childhood Support and Learning) had to cancel their annual education conference this year. Their role is to advocate on Aboriginal early childhood education issues and support staff working on this. The conferences has been a vital part of that. Through the conference, it has been easier to improve Aboriginal education through professional workshop and having a forum to debate what issues needs to be addressed for Aboriginal Education.
