A lot of Australians eat meat, and with summer coming, BBQ season is nearly upon us. But do people really know about the living conditions of the animals they’re eating before they reach the plate? Sally Dingle-Wall is an animal liberationist who is part of a campaign in Sydney which is raising awareness about the living conditions of animals on factory farms. Her group is driving around the streets of Sydney showing images of factory chickens on video screens. She described the images she’s showing and the reaction she’s getting from surprised onlookers.
