Animal hoarding, which is having more than the usual amount of pets, becoming more recognised as a symptom of poor mental health. According to the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation, hoarding is a disorder – and is much more prevalent in Australia than most people think. The RSPCA deal with a large number of animal hoarding cases, and they say the conditions are quite shocking.
