American soldiers in Afghanistan have been accused of trying to convert the local population to Christianity. A former documentary maker- Brian Hughes, captured footage of army chaplains discussing bibles that had been translated into local languages. Although the footage is over a year old, news network Al Jazeera has published the story, provoking outrage amongst Afghani politicians and embarrassment for the American government.
