According to The Australian today, opposition leader Kim Beazley needs to encourage more women to join his party. Senator Claire Moore and Stephanie Key are both members of Emily’s list, an organisation dedicated to inspiring women to follow up on their passion for politics and to get involved. Both of them are confident that the amount of women in the Labor party on a state Government level are quite substantial, but that it can still be a man’s world.
