Traditional Owners of an Alice Springs town camp have had basic human rights revoked as their water was turned off over a month ago. The town camp is located on the outskirts of Alice Springs. Local traditional owners are concerned about relocation. Although the Northern Territory Government says that there is really nothing they could do as the camp doesn’t come under official ruling. However ever there is some good news, residents will have access to water for at least the next twelve months thanks to support from local Lhere Artepe Aboriginal Corporation.
