After 60 years of being a closed organisation, Alcoholics Anonymous in South Australia is celebrating its 60th anniversary by having an open meeting to tell the public what it is all about. AA helps many people overcome alcohol addiction each year, and Owen Teakle talked to one of those, recovered alcoholic and Alcoholics Anonymous information provider Kevin Fitzgerald about what Friday’s meeting is all about. TV personality Mike Munroe also talks about growing up in a family with an alcoholic.
