Warburton is an Aboriginal community of around 700 people in Ngaanyatjarra Lands, just south of the Gibson Desert in Western Australia.
It’s one of the most remote communities in the country – yet it’s breaking new ground with its widespread encouragement of the arts.
And now the local people are about to release a project, Alanya, a magazine that showcases the Ngaanyatjarra culture through fashion, hair and design.
You can find out more about the project and getting the Alanya magazine here.
