65,000 aged care employees have left the Aged Care industry after the stresses of the pandemic, and with precious little immigration, the traditional areas for recruitment have also been blocked.

The Aged Care sector is in crisis today according to a new report by the Committee for Economic Development Australia.  Aged care workers are behind nurses and retail workers when it comes to pay rates, and a review underway will recommend wage rises.
