ADHD medication being trialed for ice addiction

With the use of crystal methamphetamine growing, St. Vincent’s Hospital is trialing Vynanse, an ADHD medication, to ween users off of the highly addictive drug. Because the drug cannot be snorted, crushed, or injected to enhance its effects, it is an ideal substitute. I spoke to Professor Jason White, Adelaide University’s Head of the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences on drug addiction and substitution.
