The Wire

Adelaide, at just over one million people, is a small city by anyone’s standards, but it hosts one of the largest and most popular Fringe festivals in the world, second only to the famous Edinburgh festival.

Adelaide is in full swing at the moment with this annual showcase of arts music and comedy. The Wire’s Martin McCarthy ventured into the carnival atmosphere of the Fringe, and found that when it comes to such festivals, small may be beautiful.
