Anti-Adani protestors have been fined $8,000 for the history-making charge of interference with operations of a port.

But some activists against the planned mine have taken a more conventional approach.

A group of graziers from Longreach, central Queensland, have delivered petitions to Queensland Parliament in Brisbane, with more than 150,000 names against Adani’s groundwater license and compulsory land acquisition for the project.
