Today the government launched the Aboriginal Mental Health and Suicide Prevention Advisory Group to reduce the suicide rates in Indigenous communities. The advisory body will provide the government with advice and drive reform to improve mental health, but some are worried the government funding and support won’t reach the people who need it most. If you’re going through a crisis and want to seek help, call Lifeline on 13 11 14.
