Mr Randall was an Aboriginal elder who will be remembered as a great teacher, inspiring songwriter and a person who made mainstream Australia sit up and listen to the stories of the Stolen Generation. Taken from his family when he was just seven years old and raised in institutions in Alice Springs and on Croker Island, Mr Randall found his roots in his twenties and returned to his mother’s country at Mutitjulu Community beside Uluru, where he passed away on 14 May 2015.
