In the revolutionary 70’s Aboriginal people in New South Wales were joined by churches, unions and other supporters in the fight to stop the government revoking their rights to land. Over thirty years later and after many ups and downs the 115 land councils in that state form a network that is asset rich and the largest representative aboriginal organisation in the country.
